They are then mechanically combed into beautiful long-strand premium fibers for weaving. These organic linen boxers are made in-house from start to finish for true purity. Most linen and hemp on the market are boiled down with acids and potentially toxic chemicals, then spun cheaply like cotton, taking away the natural resilience and strength traditional linen and hemp fibers are known for.  Please read before buying: Do not put these special hemp shorts in the dryer. If you must use a dryer, please choose one of our organic cotton options instead. Untreated natural linen will shrink in the high dry heat of the dryer. Shrinkage is not a claimable defect (we do not use forever chemicals to shrinkage-proof our products). By purchasing these unique organic hemp shorts, you agree to not use the dryer. Wash on gentle cycle in a laundry mesh bag (or by hand) with lukewarm water and mild biodegradable detergent and hang to dry or line-dry. Do not use bleach and do not use fabric softeners. The new 100% biodegradable organic natural rubber elastic answers the need of our many chemically sensitive customers. It‘s made of 50% certified organic cotton, and 50% organic natural rubber. With organic bio-elastic, there‘s really absolutely zero chemicals involved in the design of this product - from plastic-free hemp drawstring to now also natural rubber organic elastic. Fully bio-degradable.
